INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 (“Personal Data Protection Code”, hereinafter the “Code”) and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), we provide you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

In particular, the personal data collected by the Data Controller (as defined below) in relation to the services (the “Services”) requested by you will be processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

2.1 Personal data voluntarily provided by you

Within the scope of data processing activities, personal data provided directly by you will be processed.

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”), as defined in Article 4(1) GDPR, including identifiers such as name, identification number, location data, online identifiers, or elements specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity, as well as images.

2.2 Personal data of third parties provided by you

You acknowledge that any provision of personal data and contact details of third parties constitutes processing for which you act as the data controller. You therefore undertake to ensure that such data has been collected and communicated in compliance with applicable data protection laws and to inform such third parties in accordance with Article 13 GDPR.

Such data will be used exclusively for the provision and management of the Services.

3. Purposes of Processing

3.1 Your personal data will be processed, where necessary with your explicit consent, for the following purposes:

a) Service provision purposes
To provide the requested Services, as well as to personalise and continuously improve them. Data may also be used to suggest services that may be of interest to you and to communicate with you regarding requested services.

b) Marketing purposes
Where consent is given, personal data may be used to send information regarding the Controller’s services, as well as to conduct studies, research, and statistical analyses.

3.2 Processing will be carried out using manual, electronic, and telematic tools, in compliance with appropriate security measures, and in accordance with principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, and confidentiality.

3.3 Your personal data will be stored on servers available to the Controller.

4. Legal Basis of Processing

4.1 The legal basis may include your consent, the performance of a contract, or compliance with legal obligations.

Providing data is optional; failure to provide it may prevent the provision of Services and/or marketing communications.

You may withdraw consent at any time and object to processing by contacting the Controller. Any withdrawal will be applied promptly, including notification to third parties where applicable.

5. Processing Methods

5.1 Data will be processed using manual, electronic, and paper-based systems.

No automated decision-making processes are used, except for profiling related to marketing purposes.

6. Data Recipients

6.1 Personal data will not be disseminated but may be communicated to:

  • employees and collaborators within the EU;

  • consultants in accounting, legal, tax, administrative, and financial matters within the EU;

  • authorities where required by law.

Recipients may act as processors, independent controllers, or joint controllers. A list of processors is available upon request.

7. Data Transfers Outside the EU

7.1 Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union.

8. Data Retention

  • For service provision: data will be retained for the duration necessary to manage the Services, subject to legal obligations.

  • For marketing purposes: data will be retained for no longer than 24 months, unless anonymised.

9. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to:

  • access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability;

  • withdraw consent at any time;

  • lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali – www.garanteprivacy.it).
