History
Lo Studio Valla nasce a Roma nel 1999 ed opera a livello nazionale, comunitario ed internazionale, offrendo servizi di consulenza nel settore della Finanza Agevolata a favore di imprese e pubbliche amministrazioni a valere sui Fondi Strutturali, sui Fondi del Piano Nazionale per la Ripresa e la Resilienza e sugli Aiuti Diretti della
Commissione Europea. Lo studio svolge altresìattività di lobbying e Public Affairs rivolte in particolar modo sul piano nazionale e comunitario cercando di costruire ed ampliare la rete di contatti delle aziende con le istituzioni al fine di promuovere le proprie istanze ed i propri progetti.
Le sedi dello Studio sono a Roma nel quartiere Parioli, a Torino, a Bruxelles nel quartiere europeo e dal 2022 abbiamo un punto di contatto a New York.
La sede di Roma è da sempre il punto dove si concentra l’attività consulenziale inerente i fondi strutturali e del Pnrr ed è affiancata,
dal gennaio del 2011, dall’ufficio di Bruxelles che attraverso una qualificata rete di contatti e grazie all’esperienza consolidata in campo nazionale, si propone come desk informativo presso le Istituzioni Comunitarie e fornisce un supporto operativo teso alla costruzione di consorzi europei capaci di attingere ai Fondi Comunitari per il sostegno
dei progetti di eccellenza nel settore della Ricerca e dell’Innovazione
e punto di riferimento naturale per attività di internazionalizzazione,
così come lo sviluppo delle attività di Public Affairs.
Le attività di consulenza dello Studio hanno consentito l’approvazione ed il finanziamento di progetti, negli ultimi 25 anni, per un ammontare
di oltre 1,2 miliardi di euro.
Studio Valla was founded in Rome in 1999 and operates at national, European, and international levels, providing consulting services in the field of public funding and incentive finance for businesses and public administrations. The firm specializes in opportunities arising from the European Structural Funds, the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), and the European Commission’s Direct Funding Programs. The firm also provides lobbying and public affairs services, primarily at both national and European levels, supporting companies in building and expanding their networks of institutional relationships in order to promote their interests and strategic projects. Studio Valla maintains offices in Rome, located in the Parioli district, Turin, and Brussels, in the heart of the European Quarter. Since 2022, the firm has also established a contact point in New York. The Rome office has always been the center of the firm's advisory activities relating to Structural Funds and the PNRR. Since January 2011, it has been complemented by the Brussels office, which, through a highly qualified network of contacts and extensive experience gained at the national level, serves as an information desk within the European institutions. The Brussels office provides operational support for the development of European partnerships and consortia capable of accessing EU funding for excellence projects in the fields of Research and Innovation. It also serves as a natural hub for internationalization initiatives and the development of public affairs activities. Over the past 25 years, Studio Valla’s advisory services have contributed to the approval and financing of projects with a total value exceeding €1.2 billion.

Valerio Valla
Founder and CEO of Studio Valla. Expert in local development, EU programs, structural funds, internationalization processes, and lobbying and advocacy activities. He provides consulting services to businesses and local public administrations, with a particular focus on territorial development programs and policies, as well as strategic planning. In 1999, he founded Studio Valla, initially operating in the field of public funding and incentive finance, with offices in Rome, Turin, and Brussels. He is the CEO and Sole Director of Val.ue, a consulting firm specializing in strategic advisory services, with offices in Rome and Brussels. He has served as a consultant to Enel S.p.A., Poste Italiane S.p.A., Data Management S.p.A., Inwit S.p.A., Var Group S.p.A. (Sesa Group), Acciai Speciali Terni S.p.A., Snam S.p.A., and numerous small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He currently advises major Italian and international industrial groups listed on the NYSE and FTSE MIB, including Versalis S.p.A. (ENI), Reply S.p.A., Natuzzi S.p.A., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., HSD S.p.A. (Biesse Group), Visa Europe Management Services, and Danieli S.p.A. Among Studio Valla’s most important clients are leading players in the fields of research and innovation, sports federations—particularly the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP)—companies such as Poltrona Frau S.p.A., Santoni S.p.A., and GETRA S.p.A., which promote Made in Italy internationally, as well as cultural organizations, notably Associazione Civita. From 2008 to 2010, he served as a member of the Evaluation and Verification Unit of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, reporting directly to the Minister. From 2009 to 2012, he was a member of the Made in Italy Committee established within the framework of the “Industria 2015” program, appointed by the Minister of Economic Development. From 2009 to 2012, he was also a member of the Moninord and Monisud PONSIL Committees of the Ministry of Economic Development. He is co-author of the book *“Sustainability and ESG Value: Strategies for Professionals and Businesses”*, published by Maggioli Editore in 2023 (ISBN 8891665546). He is co-author of the book *“Maintenance in Industry, Infrastructure and Transport”*, published by FrancoAngeli in 2010 (ISBN 9788856824797). He is the author of *“Culture in the Recovery and Resilience Plans of Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal: A Comparative Analysis”*, published in the Civita Papers series by Associazione Civita (1st ed. May 2021, 2nd ed. April 2023, 3rd ed. December 2024). He is the author of numerous articles published in specialized journals on European policies and EU funding programs. He lectures at research institutes and universities. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Italian Initiative Group in Brussels, which brings together representatives of major Italian companies. He is registered in the Transparency Register of the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
