Valla has founded Studio Valla in 1999 working in the field of finance facilitated the structural funds with offices based in Rome and Brussels.

He is currently a consultant for important Italian and international industrial groups including Versalis SpA, Enel Distribuzione SpA, Poste Italian SpA, REPLY spa, Natuzzi SpA, Sas Institute.

He has been a member of the evaluation and verification team of the Ministry of Economic Development working directly for the Ministery from 2008 till 2010.

He has been a member of the Committee Made in Italy under the Industry Programme 2015, appointed by the Minister of Economic Development from 2009 to 2012.

He has been a member of the committee Moninord and Monisud pon Sil of the Ministry of Economic Development from 2009 to 2012.

He is Co-author of the book “La manutenzione nell’industria, infrastrutture e trasport”, published by Franco Angeli, 2010 (ISBN 978 – 88 – 568 – 2479 – 7).
